Job summary

The Customer Performance Analyst is a client-facing role responsible for analyzing how customers are performing with our data solutions, translating insights into actionable recommendations, and building strong relationships that drive measurable value and growth. This individual will partner closely with clients and prospects to understand their objectives, evaluate performance trends, and proactively identify opportunities to improve results using ValidiFI’s data.

The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently. They will be comfortable traveling to customer sites, presenting findings, building trusted relationships, and collaborating internally to ensure our products deliver maximum impact.

Key responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary analytical point of contact for assigned customers and prospects, focusing on value delivery and performance optimization.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders across operations, risk, analytics, and product.
  • Conduct on-site and virtual performance reviews, business reviews, and optimization workshops with client teams.
  • Work with customer and internal partners to understand customer goals, challenges, and workflows, ensuring alignment between their needs and our data products.

 

Performance Analysis & Insight Delivery

  • Analyze customer and prospect performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Translate raw data into clear, actionable insights using dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  • Prepare and deliver customer-ready performance reports, recommendations, and follow-up plans.
  • Partner with internal product and data teams to investigate issues, validate performance, and suggest enhancements.

 

Value Realization & Expansion Support

  • Monitor usage, adoption, and ROI metrics to ensure customers are maximizing value.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand product usage, improve performance, or solve customer pain points.
  • Support Client Success Executives and Sales with insights that drive renewals, growth, and product expansion conversations.

 

Internal Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with Client Success, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Sales to escalate issues and advocate for customer needs.
  • Contribute to development of standardized performance reporting, templates, dashboards, and processes.
  • Provide insights based on customer experience to support roadmapping and product improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years in an analytical, customer-facing, consulting, or performance management role (Client Success, BI, Product Analytics, Risk Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience working with data sets, identifying trends, and generating insights.
  • Proficiency with analytical and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Looker/Tableau/Power BI, SQL a plus).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to simplify complex information.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
  • Strong business acumen, especially within fintech, data products, lending, payments, or risk management (preferred).
