Job summary
ValidiFI is a fast-paced, growing private financial-technology company specializing in bank account intelligence in the forms of credit risk and account validation. We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team. As part of the data science team at ValidiFI, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large sets of data to derive actionable insights that support our business goals. This role requires proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Analytics & Insights
Key responsibilities
- Gather, clean, transform, and analyze data from various sources to identify actionable and meaningful insights
- Consuming complex data and generating easy-to-understand reports and data visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Create and present analytical findings to both potential customers and business stakeholders
- Assist in developing solutions to optimize business process and strategies
- Collaborating with different departments, such as marketing, products, and sales to understand their data needs and deliver insights that drive decision-making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interrogate datasets and generate insights
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, Python, SQL, or Excel
- Knowledge of databases and ability write SQL queries
- Good communications skills with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
