Job summary
ValidiFI is a fast-paced, growing private financial-technology company specializing in credit risk and bank account validation. We are adding a data science & analytics intern to the team for the summer 2025. As a Data Science & Analytics intern, you will be working closely with the data science team to gain valuable insights in the data science lifecycle in a real-world setting. As part of the internship, you will be assisting in analyzing data, supporting existing models, and deriving actionable insights to support our business goals. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Analytics & Insights.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating with the rest of the data science team in a real-world setting
- Analyzing large financial datasets and generating actionable and meaningful insights
- Supporting existing machine learning models and algorithms
- Working alongside other data science members during the sales process and identifying effective strategies for potential clients
What you bring to the role:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze datasets and generate insights
- Good understanding of common modeling and machine learning techniques
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
- Knowledge of databases and SQL programming language is a plus.
