As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at ValidiFI, you’ll play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities and expanding our market presence. In this role, you will engage with prospective clients, build relationships, and help drive revenue growth by connecting organizations with our cutting-edge solutions. Key responsibilities

  • Prospect & Qualify: Identify and research potential clients in industries such as financial services, lending, and fintech to build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Client Engagement: Use a multi-channel approach (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage with decision-makers, understand their needs, and effectively communicate how ValidiFI’s solutions can address their challenges.
  • Collaboration with Sales: Partner with account executives and sales leadership to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and assist in the development of strategies to close deals.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to position ValidiFI as a leader in the market.
  • CRM Management: Accurately log all activities, contacts, and opportunities in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to maintain transparency and pipeline visibility.
  • Event Representation: Represent ValidiFI at industry events, conferences, and webinars to build relationships and drive brand awareness.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, ideally within financial services, payments, lending, or SaaS.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand and articulate technical solutions in a clear and compelling way.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation tools.
  • Knowledge of the credit, lending, payments or fintech industries is a significant advantage.
